The city is home to major events such as the GC600 V8 Supercars event, Magic Millions Horse Racing Carnival, major Rugby events, Surf Carnivals, Golf Tournaments and much more. It’s also the home of the 2018 Commonwealth Games expected to bring an extra 120,000 visitors to the city for the spectacular sporting event.
